Zachary J. Jakalski, MSBA

Zach is Gremler Wealth Management's IT Director. He handles all technology related solutions for Gremler Wealth Management to ensure a smooth flow of business for both the staff and clients. Zach also is a lead business intelligence analyst for the largest farm mutual reinsurance company in North America. To continue to grow the business intelligence side of the company, Zach works hand-in-hand with all areas of the organization including both the Marketing and Information Technology departments. His experience in this role has helped him learn to create applications, streamlining the communication of internal and field staff. Zach is also a key contributor to the analytical pricing of farm mutual companies where he works with clients and marketing staff to evaluate risks and propose contract changes. His experience and passion for data and technology has allowed him to pursue many avenues within the company, leading him to meet with many senior executives to build out applications crucial for business function.

During his undergrad, Zach attended Drake University in Des Moines where he double majored in Marketing and Information Systems. He also played Division I (AA) football while attending Drake where he won multiple Academic All-Conference accolades. After graduating, Zach began working but that didn’t stop him from continuously learning as he began his pursuit of a graduate degree from The University of Iowa Tippie School of Business where he studied Business Analytics. He graduated from the top 15 ranked program with both a Certificate and Masters degree in May 2022.

As an active member in his community, Zach has participated in many events to lend a helping hand for those in need. In college, while balancing his studies as well as his athletics, he would participate in weekly reading programs in which he would mentor young students at local schools throughout the community. Zach also makes time for what he enjoys: sports, reading, family, and learning new things.
